Sale-of-land rules, owners corporation and strata legislation, statutory warranties, duty concessions and cooling-off rights all vary between jurisdictions and change over time. Where we describe a general position, treat it as a prompt to check the position in the state where the property sits, on the date it matters to you.
6. Independence and funding
Vantrellis takes no commissions, referral fees, affiliate revenue, advertising or sponsored placements. No developer, agent, builder, broker or lender pays to appear on this site or has any editorial influence over it. The practice is funded by consulting work its principals do outside this site. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the change takes effect.
7. No named-project opinions
We do not publish views on whether a named development, builder or agency is good or bad, and nothing here should be read as a comment on any identifiable project or business. Examples and figures are illustrative and hypothetical unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Illustrative figures
Where we show cost ranges or durations, they are indicative illustrations to explain how a calculation is built up. They are not quotes, estimates, valuations or survey results, and they should never be substituted for the actual budget, contract or programme of the building you are considering.
